Silly Bigna

Bigna has become quite a little person! At the moment, she makes us laugh all the time. But let us show you how she does it ...

Ready for the day ahead of her with a bag, her helmet (you never know!), and the binoculars. 

Did we mention that she makes us laugh? She was wearing the helmet the entire morning and put up a big fuss when Mami removed it for her nap ... You can even get your diapers changed with a helmet on ... 

Somehow, she might have her silly streak from someone else in the family ... 

Mami found some slippers in the drawer that Andrin got from uncle Jorrit that he found in China. Remember how our little girl had a big screaming fit when we got her first pair of shoes ... Well, she insisted on putting on the slippers, even though they are way too small ...

Sometimes, you just need to have a little bit of fun on the floor ... why not by rolling around and giggling?

A new dress ...

Mami is so proud of a dress that she made for Bigna (you can get the free pattern here:  http://www.crafterhoursblog.com/2012/05/racerback-dress-tutorial-pdf-pattern.html). Papi just asked the question if it is really worth all the work and details if she gets to wear it for only a short time ... What do you think? I think Mami has many reasons to say that it is ooooh so worth it ...

Our golden boy

Today, Andrin had his second ear surgery in his short life! Everything went fine and he is already back to playing (and would be running around, if we would not stop him ourselves). He is still a little bit pale, but he has not had too much pain and also has already eaten (ice cream, apple sauce, and more ice cream .... what can you say if the doctor recommends ice cream?!). Andrin has two new tubes in his ears and his tonsils were removed. He is very proud that he is now our golden boy since the tubes are ... well, I think you can guess it ... golden!

The past few days have been so nice and gave us the opportunity to be outside to play, play, play!

Steam train ...

Today, we had another chance  to ride the steam train. Today, even Papa was able to join and we all enjoyed the ride. Andrin was especially happy since our neighbors and Andrin's special friend came as well. 

Bigna at 16 months

Bigna is now already 16 months old. Time to post some recent pictures of our little opinionated girl.

Bigna loves to play outside, especially when there is water involved. 

Oh - she can laugh, our little one. And likes to be silly. And loves to giggle whenever her brother does something silly ... 

Insisting to wear the bike helmet in the sand box ... you never know. 

Mami and Papi do not remember that Andrin ever ate that much ... Our girl can eat ... There is nothing stopping her. 

Clearing off her plate in a quiet spot after we already finished dinner. You don't have to tell this girl that she has to clear her plate ...
