Cruising around ...

Last weekend, we took advantage of some sunshine (even though it was cold) and took Mami's new bike (no, Andrin could not convince her to get a pink bike, his favorite color) and the new bike trailer for a ride around the neighborhood. We once again realized how great our location is and how quickly we are on the bike paths that take us in every possible direction. We are looking forward to some bike rides and picnics in the spring. Andrin and Bigna liked the ride. Bigna cried in the beginning, but most likely because she was tired and then she slept snug in the trailer. And Andrin was very quiet, taking in the scenery. Mami is happy with her new bike. And Papi is really jealous because Mami's bike is better than his (better brakes, better light, just everything:) and was still not as expansive. Mami feels like she is really settling now since having a bike means even more freedom. She is planning to take the bike to go to work. Yes, there are quite a few changes and challenges ahead of us. This week, Andrin and Bigna will spend some time at their daycare on their own. And Mami will be attending her first seminar to work toward getting her license here in Switzerland. It will be the first time that she will be away from Bigna for an entire day ... But with family being so close, we are blessed that Oma will baby sit the little ones for one day!

Slow start into the weekend. Andrin and Mami got an early start and Papi and Bigna a late one.

What happened with your hair, little girl, during the night?!

Play time.

All ready and tucked-in for our first adventure with the bike trailer.

Mami's new bike. It does not just look great, it is actually real fun to ride as well!

Papi's bike.

Mami dressed Andrin and then Papi dressed Bigna. He had a big smirk on his face when he came downstairs and pointed out that Andrin and Bigna were dressed the same. Both had their overall on with stripped t shirts underneath...

Is this seriously the best we can do?!

What fun! So, Clemens takes the camera and you take the kids? Equal trade? :)
