A visit from a dear friend ...

This past weekend, we were blessed to have our dear friend, Paul, visiting us. Paul is Owen's dad and Owen was one of Andrin's best friends while we were in Eugene. Mami got to know Dana, Owen's mother while she was pregnant with Andrin and they both took prenatal yoga together. Since then, we have been friends. We had a great visit, even though Mami would prefer if Dana would visit next time as well because she kept being overruled by Paul and Papa!
On Saturday, we took a trip to the city to show Paul Basel and then look at the Tattoo Parade. For dinner, Papa had invited all his workers from his lab and we had a barbecue.
On Sunday, we had a slow start into the day. We planned to go to our nearby park for a stroll and a visit to the playground. But on our way there, Andrin fell down with his balancing bike and he hurt his finger so badly that we had to turn around and take him to the emergency room (I know, they know us by now ...). Mami and Paul continued their walk and then waiting for Andrin and Papa to get back. Andrin is ok, but since they were not entirely sure if he injured his little finger, they put his lower arm in a cast ... Great timing since we are planning to go on vacation next weekend.
