Last weekend, Mami and Papi went away for the weekend! Thanks to a wonderful birthday present, Oma and Opa took care of Bigna and Andrin and Mami and Papi had their first weekend together since Andrin was born (!). After some careful thinking, they decided to go away and not stay home and be engulfed in all the projects that are still awaiting them at home. They went to a little village close to Meiringen called Rosenlaui. It is really remote and there is just this wonderful turn-of-the-century hotel and nothing else. But there are many opportunities to hike and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The weather was not perfect, but we enjoyed every minute of our get-away.

| Right next to the hotel is the entry to a deep glacier-carved canyon. (The glacier was actually visible from the hotel.) |

| On Sunday, the day started rainy again. We went to two more waterfalls. This is in the tram to the Reichenbachfall. |
