Andrin had his 18-month well child visit today. His doctor was happy how he is developing and there are no concerns. He also got two more shots and is thus up to date again. Unfortunately, it looks like
Andrin has inherited asthma (like his
Papi,
Opa, great-grandpa, ...). He continues to have wheezing whenever he gets a cold. The doctor decided to try him on preventive
asthma medication for the coming winter and hopes that this will help him. Since
Andrin is still small, she is hesitant to make a diagnosis yet.
And here are the wonderful stats:
- Height: 32.3 inches, 82 cm (50th percentile)
- Weight: 25 pounds and 14 ounces, 11.5 kg (50th percentile)
- The doctor pointed out that Andrin is perfectly proportioned at the moment. He gained a lot of height (since it used to be 25th percentile).
