Mami and
Bigna went today to the 3-day baby well-check at the
pediatrician's office.
Andrin was not happy about us leaving and refused to take a nap with Papa for the longest time ... finally
succumbing to his tiredness after 90 minutes of battling it. But here are the good news from our visit with the
pediatrician:
Bigna is doing great. She only lost 200 g since being born (that meaning that she probably lost weight before our discharge and since then gained weight again ...). She is nursing well and
Mami's milk already came in. Quite a different story from our experience with
Andrin. Since
Bigna did not pass the state required hearing screening, we have to take her back in a week to get her hearing tested again. But the pediatrician was not too worried about it.
Bigna is a joy to have and we are trying to get some sleep while we can.

Did big brother get a haircut? I love how he wants to play with Bigna already, though he may be frustrated at times to share attention, you guys gave him the best gift - a sibling! I was a little sister and have always adored my big brother. I just know that Bigna will feel the same way. Enjoy!
