Bigna's baptism, part 1

I think my brother, Jorrit, who took wonderful pictures at Bigna's baptism, knew that I was eager to get the pictures ... Here we go ... Thanks so much, Jorrit, for the wonderful pictures!

Getting Bigna ready for her big celebration. Oma is helping putting her into the baptism dress that has been in our family for 120 years (!) or six generations, descending from my mother's side (yes, Mami and Andrin were baptized in that same dress as well).

All ready and dressed. Bigna did not take a morning nap and was getting tired.

Just in time for the baptism, Bigna woke up again and opened her eyes. To our big surprise, she did not cry, even though she got wet!

Andrin got to choose a magnet for himself and for Bigna (he choose a rabbit for Bigna).
