Christmas party

This past Saturday, we celebrated Christmas with Andrin's friends from his playgroup through Open Door. Andrin has been attending an English-speaking playgroup three times a week (in the morning). He enjoys playing with his friends, but seems to be reluctant to speak English there (even though he sometimes speaks English at home). It is clear though that he still understands everything ... It was a joyful, loud, and exciting event. Andrin was not really interested in doing any crafts, even though he made an angel. But he loved to run around with his friends. But the highlight of the party was (besides all the International food, of course) the visit of Father Christmas. He had a present for every single child present at the party (!). Andrin was one of the first ones to receive his present because of his last name, and you should have seen his face when he opened up the present. It was the PERFECT gift for him and he has been so happy with his new drill. He has been drilling holes in everything and also mentioned that he would like to take the drill to Opa when he visits the next time so that they can drill together. 

Our little girl is on the move. Always and everywhere! And if she is not moving, then she is standing and trying to walk!

Visit from Father Christmas.

Almost all the children. And every single one of them received a present!

To our big surprise, Andrin went up to Father Christmas by himself. I think the "he got a present for you" was a big motivation.
