Catching up

Papi talked a while ago about taking a day off and taking advantage of day care and meeting up with Mami. Well, yesterday, we did something like that ... just not really fun. After Andrin had the bug Monday, Mami got sick Tuesday night and was joined by Papi Wednesday morning. I guess we all have not felt as miserable in a long time. Today is Thursday and we are feeling better ... a lot ... but not quite like before. We are hoping that every day will be better from now on! But we got to spend Wednesday at home. The children were tucked away in day care (Bigna was also not really feeling like herself, but never got sick!) and Mami and Papi spent the day at home ... tucked away in bed ... But not quite like we imagined a romantic get away ...

But today, we had some catching up to do and Bigna and Andrin were happy to have their parents back again ...

Bigna figured out how to get on her horse herself now. Sometimes, it is just a little awkward ... and backwards ... 

Bigna's newest stunt ... Getting on the stool (Andrin calls it the "Happy Appetite") and then bouncing up and down ... and of course smiling the entire time ... She can even get down from the stool herself again. 

Andrin was outside playing today (we have finally nicer temperatures again and the snow is gone as well, it was washed away by rain) and when I looked outside, he had built this elaborate structure. When I asked him what he had built, he answered "a fire".

One of Bigna's favorite things to do at the moment ... putting everything in jars, boxes, ... 

Just a first glimpse of Fasnacht. Bigna is sporting off Andrin's headset.  (We went to our local fasnacht and lasted for about 3 minutes ... andrin actually liked the loud music (maim feared that he would get scared), but he was scared of one of the traditional characters (the Waggis) ...
