Let's paint the strawberries red!

The other day, Andrin and Mami had an interesting conversation:

Andrin: "Mami, can we paint the strawberries red? Is that a good idea?" (that being his favorite phrase at the moment).
Mami: "Why would you want to paint the strawberries?"
Andrin: "Because then we can eat them. You said that we can eat them when they are red? Is that a good idea?"

How much I love this logic! 

It makes perfect sense to me! 

And why not paint strawberries after we just painted some eggs? 

Is that a good idea?
