Andrin is oh so excited. We have really special visitors and he has been soaking up all the special attention. His beloved Nana and Dave are visiting from Eugene, Oregon. In the beginning, he was a little bit shy, but that has faded since then ... We have had some filled days so far and they are currently visiting Oma and Opa and experiencing Lucerne and some "real" mountains with them. They arrived on Sunday from Paris and we spent some time in our local park. We also were fortunate to celebrate a big birthday with Nana! On Monday, we explored the old part of our city and then also went to Fondation Beyeler. The evening was topped by a dinner above the Rhine river in a former bath house. The weather has been really perfect and we are looking forward to their return and some more adventures (Paul Klee in Bern, Chapel Ronchamps, Museum Tingueley, ...).
It has been fun, catching up with Nana and Dave. And Bigna clearly found a new friend in Nana! She went right up to her and sat on her lab! And after we were looking at some of Nana's more recent drawings that she had in a show in Eugene, Clemens secured one of the pieces for us!
