Tell me about the white dress

Last weekend, we attended a wedding. Even though Andrin has experienced weddings in the past, this time, it really hit home. He has been asking me every little detail about our wedding. We took out the wedding picture album and he has been looking at it very intently. I am amazed by all the details he has been noticing (did you really have real flowers in your hair, Mami?). He also has been smitten by the fact that he recognized some of the people on the pictures (look that is Gotti Sara, and Götti Thomas, and ....). He also has been asking about all the people that he did not recognize (we have not seen them in a long time, Mami!). But of course, he is most fascinated by the fact that he was not THERE. He keeps asking why there are no children on the pictures. And then wants to know where he was. At the moment, he knows that he was not yet there ... But he is confused because he thinks that he is already in Mami's tummy (but Mami, your tummy is not big at all ... thanks, son:)! I am sure, there will be many more discussions in the future. Today, he asked me if he could take out some of the pictures because he wanted to have them for himself. What a wonderful compliment (or at least, I take it as that:)!
